The Torbo Wet Abrasive System is the best new environmental technology for safe, cost effective removal of Lead Paint, Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Coatings and is currently being used to remove lead paint at the $130 milion development of The Villages of Sally Creek Retirement Development in Stoney Creek. The $1.8 million Environmental Remediation project is currently in progress. Contaminants being removed are Lead Paint, Asbestos, PCB's and Contaminated Soil.

Mr. Don Bremner, the Vice President of Operations was a guest speaker at the United Nations Secretariat of the Basel Convention sponsered Caribbean Asbestos Forum in November 1998. The 12 countries represented were Cuba, Belize, Barbados, Bahamas, Dominica, St. Kitts, and Nevis, Jamaica, Netherlands, Antilles, St.Lucia, St. Vincent, Canada and Great Britain.

In 1998, Restoration Environmental Contractors was the pre-qualified low bidder on the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Asbestos Removal of the Yonge Street Subway Line for $7.4 million. An excellent year in 1999, with the completetion of the $2.2 million Asbestos Removal Project at The Old Crown Life Building at 120 Bloor St. E. in Toronto and in Ottawa the cleanup of the Largest Lead Abatement project at a 300,000 sq. ft. Computer Manufacturing Facility.
