a guest speaker at the United Nations Secretariat of the Basel Convention sponsered Caribbean Asbestos Forum in November 1998. The 12
countries represented were Cuba, Belize, Barbados, Bahamas, Dominica, St. Kitts, and
Nevis, Jamaica, Netherlands, Antilles, St.Lucia, St. Vincent, Canada and Great Britain.
In
1998, Restoration Environmental Contractors was the pre-qualified low bidder on the
Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Asbestos Removal of the Yonge Street
Subway Line for $7.4 million. An excellent year in 1999, with the completetion of the
$2.2 million Asbestos Removal Project at The Old Crown Life Building
at 120 Bloor St. E. in Toronto and in Ottawa the cleanup of the Largest Lead Abatement
project at a 300,000 sq. ft. Computer Manufacturing Facility.
