Restoration Environmental
Contractors Infectious Disease Control Response Team to supply and
install Portable HEPA Negative Air Filtering Scrubber Units to Hospitals
to provide the highest level of protection against Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Severe Acute Respiratory
Syndrome (SARS) is a highly contagious disease. REC - Restoration
Environmental Contractors Infectious Disease Control Team can supply a
highly trained Infectious Control Emergency Response Team to supply and
install Portable HEPA Negative Air Filtering Scrubber Unites into
Hospitals. These Portable HEPA Negative Air Filtering Scrubber units are
installed in the hospital emergency rooms, examination rooms and
Intensive Care Units - (ICU) rooms and offer staff and patients the
highest level of protection, especially designed 99.97% efficient gel
seal HEPA Air Filters, CSA Certified.
REC - Restoration
Environmental Infectious Disease Control Team can supply a highly
trained Infectious Emergency Response Team to suppy and install Portable
HEPA Negative Air Filter Scrubber Units which are designed to create
airborne infection isolation rooms in healthcare settings. These systems
may exceed all engineering control requirements in CDC and OSHA
Tuberculosis (TB) regulations.
The Portable HEPA Negative
Air Filtering Scrubber Unites are designed to capture the wide range of
contaminants that can be released into the air during constructin,
renovation and maintenance work. Construction dust may contain mould
spores including Toxic Mould/Mold spores, including Aspergilliums and
Stachybotrys Chartarum spores, which can cause harmful effects and
infections in patients with weakend immune systems.
All of these systems can
be used to create negative HEPA pressure environments. They can also be
used for positive pressure of re-circulation. Specific applications
include:
-
TB isolation
-
SARS Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)
-
Isolation
-
Emergency Department
-
Renovation and
Construction Dust Control
-
Paint and Varnish Odors
-
Bronchoscopy
-

-
Nosocomial Infections
Environmental Abatement:
Similar designed unites are use everyday in the removal of Hazardous
Materials including Asbestos, Lead Paint, Toxic Mould/Mold and fungus
removal projects and infectious disease control remediation projects.
Room Turnaround: We are
concerned with providing the highest levels of protection for hospital
workers and patients. After hospital cleaning staff carry out infectious
disease control cleanup procedures (the removal of all physical items)
in the infected areas, the room can then be back in service within half
and hour to one hour from the time the cleanup is done. This allows for
the removal of filtering of high amounts of air change, elimination of
contaminants and infectious diseases. This results in minimal room shit
down and disruption which is a major concern for all hospital
adminstrations.
